XBRL US Filer Training
http://xbrl.us/events/pages/training/workshopemail.aspx
This informative, hands-on program is geared to external reporting professionals who have already filed in XBRL or are just getting started. There's no better way to learn than through the expertise of XBRL US - the nonprofit consortium that built the US GAAP Taxonomy, and now works closely with the FASB on support and maintenance. Our expert trainers are skilled CPAs who have years of experience working with the US GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy.
The two-part workshop is designed to provide guided practice in selecting elements and creating an XBRL-formatted financial statement.
Part 1 is a 90-minute live interactive webcast to get a fundamental understanding of the US GAAP Financial Reporting Taxonomy, SEC requirements and planning considerations.
Part 2 is an 8-hour hands-on workshop in a New York City computer-equipped classroom, where you will learn to map, extend, tag, create and validate an XBRL exhibit.
By the end of the workshop, you'll know how to:
• Comply with the new SEC requirements for XBRL filings
• Identify, budget and plan resources to implement XBRL for reporting
• Select taxonomy elements for financial statement line items
• Create a customized taxonomy and instance document
• Validate your filing for SEC submission
