Japan EDINET Taxonomy Acknowledged
On March 11th, 2008 the Taxonomy Recognition Task Force of XBRL International granted "Acknowledged" status to the Japan EDINET Taxonomy. This is a large taxonomy, consisting of many components - accordingly this page of description is provided to assist in understanding what has been acknowledged.
The set of files comprising the taxonomy that has been granted "Acknowledged" status are those located at http://www.fsa.go.jp/singi/edinet/20080208/01.zip
A .zip file containing the English language summary page description of the taxonomy that has been granted "Acknowledged" status and associated files to aid users in using the taxonomy is located at http://www.fsa.go.jp/singi/edinet/20080208/06.zip
The above files may also be accessed from the Japanese Language page at http://www.fsa.go.jp/singi/edinet/20080208.html - this page does not form part of the set of artefacts that has been granted "Acknowledged" status by XBRL International - this link is provided for the convenience of Japanese language users.
In order to test the taxonomy a "harness" set of files was exercised to simulate the typical entry points that would be used by users of this taxonomy. This set of files IS NOT A PART OF THE TAXONOMY that has been granted "Acknowledged" status and is not intended to be used by end users of the taxonomy. It is included here solely in order to disclose the process XBRL International used to test the taxonomy. A .zip file containing these harness files is located at http://www.xbrl.org/Taxonomy/Japan_FSA_EDINET/EDINET_Test_Harness.zip
