Indian market regulator working on introduction of XBRL

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is in discussion with stock exchanges and issuers of financial information about the introduction of XBRL for financial reporting by companies, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI). One aim is to make user access to information more efficient.
