UK Revenue receives first tax filings in XBRL

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has begun receiving corporation tax submissions in XBRL, becoming the second UK Government agency to receive XBRL filings. The start of company tax filing in XBRL follows the successful launch by UK Companies House of an XBRL filing service for the financial statements of small companies.
