US SEC details plans for first roundtable on XBRL

The US SEC's first roundtable on 12 June to explore the benefits and use of XBRL will focus on improving the quality of mutual fund disclosures, what investors and analysts are looking for from XBRL, how to accelerate the use of new software and what the SEC can do to help companies take maximum benefit from XBRL. Xerox Chairman and CEO Anne Mulcahy will make a keynote address in the afternoon session, according to a SEC announcement giving details of the Washington event.
