XBRL International Announces 2011 International Steering Committee Election Results

BEIJING, CHINA, OCTOBER 18, 2010- XBRL International, Inc. (XII) announced today that during its October meeting in Beijing, Arleen Thomas, Senior Vice President, Member Competency and Development, AICPA, has been elected Chair of the XII International Steering Committee (ISC) for 2011. Dave Van den Ende, Director, Deloitte, was elected as 2nd Vice Chair representing At-Large members.

Five At-Large members of the ISC were also elected: Li Dan, China Ministry of Finance; John Turner, CoreFiling; Caetano Nobre, MZ Consult S.A.; Shiping Liu, Global Business Intelligence Consulting Corporation (GBICC); and Avinash Chander, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
