NEW ZEALAND TAXONOMY
A draft taxonomy has been prepared in accordance with "old" New Zealand Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (NZ GAAP). This taxonomy will not be developed further because after 1 January 2007 all financial reporting entities in New Zealand will need to prepare financial statements under New Zealand equivalent of International Financial Reporting Standards (NZ IFRS).

XBRL-NZ intends to replace this taxonomy with an extension taxonomy to the approved IFRS taxonomy developed by the IASCF to recognise unique terms in the financial statements of New Zealand reporting entities.
