Brief Description:

Use of XBRL to enable collaboration of analytical models and presentation templates.

iDP approaches the access and analysis problem with a standardized approach enhancing the interoperability of disparate systems based upon common standards.  Information models, business rules, presentation concepts, etc. are articulated in standardized taxonomies and executed across a wide range of software applications.  Standardization (e.g. via the abstraction layer discussed below) empowers consumers to create their own reporting concepts and enables collaboration across consumers on reporting and analytical concepts.

iDP leverages an XBRL based abstraction layer to standardize information elements, business rules, presentation concepts and relationships to efficiently manage this critical intellectual property across a wide range of underlying software applications both providing and consuming information.  This abstraction layer is mapped to a wide range of underlying software applications that both provide and consume iDP messages which are delivered via web services.

Leveraging the XBRL abstraction layer (of information taxonomies, presentation concepts, rules, etc.) iDP also enables consumers to collaborate in the customization of their own personal analytical presentations and concepts.  This solution may not rely upon third party vendors for data and can be adapted and used by third party clients as a stand alone type of platform using reusable business modeling and presentation components.
