Formula Working Group release first Public Working Draft of the XBRL Formula 1.0 Requirements and Specification

The Formula Working Group (FWG) of XBRL International have released the first Public Working Draft (PWD) of the XBRL Formula 1.0 Requirements and Specification. This is an early draft and, as such, is incomplete and not to be considered stable. There are still significant design decisions to be made and the FWG has published this draft in order to solicit public feedback as input to those decisions. The issues underlying these decisions are listed in the PWD material, which can be found at http://www.xbrl.org/SpecPWDs/ .

The Working Group will be scheduling public information “dial-in” sessions shortly for interested parties to discuss the draft with members of the Working Group. Please watch for further announcements of the time and date of these.
