UBmatrixTM announces the first XBRL Processor that integrates XBRL validation with XSLT and Xpath 2.0.

XBRL validation is integrated with XSLT and XPath 2.0 for easy taxonomy and instance document transformation and rendering.

KIRKLAND, WA April 22nd, 2005 -- UBmatrix, a leading provider of solutions based on open world standards for enabling automated business reporting and analysis, announced today the UBmatrix XBRL Processor. The XBRL Processor SDK enables developers to easily build XBRL applications for validating and consuming XBRL documents into existing workflows and leverage their investments in XML and Web services while gaining the benefits of XBRL. The XBRL Processor is built for high volume, large scale business processes that require XBRL data validation and conversion for use in existing applications.

Built on a completely new extensible object oriented architecture, the XBRL Processor is optimized for sever-based implementations. This new robust architecture provides for XBRL and FRTA validation; developer configurable validation rules; transformation of taxonomies and instance documents using XSLT; and extraction of data via XPath 2.0.

“The XBRL Processor is designed to be integrated into existing IT infrastructure workflow to facilitate the validation and transformation of XBRL data into enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, financials, spreadsheets, analytics and others,” states Steve Hord, director of product development at UBmatrix. “Organizations that collect and process XBRL data will benefit from a highly scalable and powerful XBRL processor that facilitates transformation of XBRL data into any format including plain text, XML, PDF, HTML, and others.”

Capabilities:

·        Streamline the process of extracting XBRL data automatically and validating calculation links to ensure data accuracy

·        The XBRL Processor fully supports the 2.1 specification including XBRL calculation

·        Supports XSLT v2.0 (XPath v2.0) for taxonomy and instance document transformation and rendering

·        Customizable validation engine

·        Existing applications can be easily XBRL-enabled and leverage XBRL validation

UBmatrix will be demonstrating the XBRL Processor at our exhibit table at the 11th International XBRL Conference in Boston.
