Fujitsu hosts 7th European XBRL Workshop in Greece

Fujitsu, a Direct Member and Sustaining Partner of XBRL International, recently held its 7th Annual European XBRL Workshop in Thessaloniki, Greece. The event brought together regulators, filers, software vendors, industry leaders and experts from 11 countries for rich discussions on the future of regulatory reporting and digital innovation.

Presenters included representatives from the European Banking Authority (EBA), European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), and the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG).
XBRL International’s Technical Director, Paul Warren, shared insights into recent technical developments, with a focus on the OIM Taxonomy strategic initiative and the upcoming Table Constraints specification, enhancements designed to improve the functionality of the xBRL-CSV reporting format.
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees valuing the opportunity to exchange ideas and address practical challenges, particularly in light of expanding xBRL-CSV and upcoming ESRS reporting requirements.
