EFRAG rolls out data migration tool for VSME
Europe’s sustainability reporting machinery continues to evolve. EFRAG has released an updated version of its VSME Digital Template, adding Dutch and Irish language versions and, usefully for many preparers, introducing a new data migration tool designed to carry existing reports smoothly into the latest template.
Embedded in the Digital Template Converter, the tool allows users to transfer information from earlier versions of the VSME Digital Template to the newest release in just a few clicks. The aim is to reduce the risks and tedium of manual copy-and-paste updates while helping small and medium-sized enterprises continue using the latest features of the template without losing previously entered data.
As structured reporting frameworks evolve, enabling reliable migration between template versions helps avoid stranding existing data, reducing the burden of reporting.
