SEC cancels June EDGAR software release

Posted on June 7, 2026 by Editor

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has cancelled EDGAR software release 26.2, previously scheduled for 15 June 2026.

Draft filer manual changes and technical specifications published just weeks ago have been pulled from SEC.gov, changes to the EDGAR Beta Environment are being reverted, and the SEC has offered an apology to the filing community for any inconvenience caused.

We are, at this point, as much in the dark as anyone, and will report back when the picture becomes clearer.

You can check the official announcement  here.
