Cybersecurity impacts everyone
The threat of cyber attack is, unfortunately, a global phenomena and concerns regulators all over the world. In a recent call to action by Dr Ernest Addison, the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, banks in that country will soon be required to publish bank-specific cybersecurity policies. With revised rules in front of the country’s parliament, the central bank is focussed on payment systems and services. The Governor said that “Financial Institutions would be required to implement an integrated approach to cyber risk management in line with business objectives”.
