UK tax authority launches service for company tax filings in XBRL

The UK's HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has launched a service which accepts online Corporation Tax filings in XBRL. The filings, known as tax computations, use a taxonomy developed by HMRC. The organisation also plans to accept company accounts in XBRL in due course.

The Singapore Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) has launched a project to establish XBRL as a standard for online financial reporting, according to MediaCorp News.
