Feedback Sought on Units Registry Specification

Posted on August 18, 2016 by Dave Nitchman

The XBRL Standards Board recently approved a new version of the Units Registry, which incorporates a new item type for measuring flows of energy.  This is used in some industries to measure the energy content of extracted fuel, using units such as MMBTU/day.

As per the UTR process, the new addition is at Candidate Recommendation Status.  Any comments on this new entry should be sent to utram@xbrl.org.

The units registry can be found here:

The entry will remain at CR status for a minimum of 30 days for feedback.
