Explore LLMs at the AI and Structured Data Forum

On 15 May Stevens Institute of Technology will host the AI and Structured Data Forum: Optimizing Performance, a one-day gathering co-produced by XBRL US and the Center for Research toward Advancing Financial Technologies (CRAFT).
Bringing together regulators, technologists and audit leaders, including representatives from the US Securities and Exchange Commission and Deloitte, the forum will examine how structured, standardised data underpins more reliable artificial intelligence, from audit automation to decentralised finance. At its heart is a simple proposition: machine learning performs better when the data it consumes is consistent, semantically rich and interoperable.

Despite AI promising to reduce friction in financial markets, there’s much to debate and a way to go to strengthen trust in automated systems. Large language models may command the headlines, but without high-quality structured data, including XBRL-tagged disclosures, their outputs risk inconsistency and opacity.
