How many decisions do you make in a day?

Posted on September 8, 2023 by Editor

How many decisions do you make in a day? Hundreds? Maybe thousands? Of course, it all depends what you mean by a decision, and estimates vary between 27 and 35,000… But one thing is clear: humans are decision makers. And that means humans need data.

Data Amplified is a conference about the future of business reporting – so really that means that it is a conference about data. We’ll be talking about how to create structured, digital data that is useful and relevant, and the incredible things we can now do with that data.

We’ll be taking a deep dive into the question of what users such as data providers – and ultimately investors – are currently looking for, as well as how to ensure high data quality. We’ll consider some of the big questions around sustainability data, like how to ensure it is globally comparable and can be integrated into decision-making processes with financial data – how to leverage the digital information being prepared right now. We’ll discuss the role of AI in reporting processes, and how structured data and AI work together to improve decision outcomes. We’ll hear about a wide range of reporting projects and how digital data is being used around the world.

If you’re interested in data and what it can do, join us in Zurich on 16–17 October for all this and so much more. Register now at https://www.dataamplified.org/
