Inline XBRL gets an upgrade
The XBRL Standards Board has approved the publication of a Proposed Edited Recommendation to the Inline XBRL 1.1 specification, with accompanying amendments to the Inline XBRL 1.1 Primer. This new draft contains minor updates designed to clarify support for multi-document reports that contain a mixture of Inline XBRL and HTML files, and to improve the process for updates to the Transformation Rules Registry.
The specification will be available for public review for six weeks. After this point, in the absence of any issues raised during the review period, it will be promoted to Edited Recommendation status and will replace the current specification.
