New IFRS e-learning helps firms get on top of ISSB prep

If you’re still wondering how to get up to speed on IFRS S1 and S2, the IFRS Foundation has the solution. A new set of e-learning modules—completely free and hosted on the IFRS Sustainability Knowledge Hub—aims to get companies and stakeholders up to scratch on the ISSB Standards. Whether you’re submitting disclosures or aiming to understand what they mean, this is a timely and practical resource.
The Foundation launched four interactive, self-paced courses covering: the basics of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards; IFRS S1 on general sustainability-related disclosures; IFRS S2 on climate-related disclosures; and the strategic implications of integrating sustainability into organisational processes. The course features short assessments, a certificate if you want one, and visual content to break up the policy prose.
Sue Lloyd, ISSB Vice-Chair, summed it up well: accessible, practical support is vital if the standards are going to be applied effectively. And she’s right. The clock is ticking for jurisdictions implementing ISSB Standards, and anything to help ease companies into new filing requirements is going to help smooth the transition.
The courses are open now and all you need is an IFRS account. Get started here.
