Preparing for tailored shareholder reports

Posted on March 17, 2024 by Editor

In a bid to enhance transparency and accessibility for retail investors, in 2022 the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) introduced rules on tailored shareholder reports for open-end funds. These reports, designed to distill complex financial information into concise and visually engaging formats while making use of Inline XBRL tagging, aim to empower investors with key insights.

Amidst this regulatory shift, Toppan Merril is running a guidance series to help stakeholders navigate the nuances of these reports. The latest podcast explores the data and content management challenges at the share-class level.

Investors and market participants gearing up to use or deliver these reports are encouraged to have a listen to gain valuable insights, enabling informed decision-making in the dynamic landscape of financial investments.
