UnionCamerere in Italy Registers over 900,000 XBRL Filings

Posted on March 24, 2016 by Dave Nitchman

More than 900,000 financial statements were filed using XBRL at the Commercial Register of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in 2015. In a press statement, Unioncamere drew attention to the success of the electronic filing system in making “the reading of the economic and financial dynamics faster and more efficient in our business system.”

The Chamber and the National Council of Chartered Accountants also released an operating manual for 2016, providing detailed instructions for the electronic filing of financial statements and promoting uniform filing guidelines. All Italian taxonomies are available on the website of XBRL Italy.
