EBA issues second phase of latest reporting framework

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published phase 2 of version 3.2 of its reporting framework, with an updated technical package including XBRL taxonomies, validation rules, and the Data Point Model (DPM). This second release particularly addresses amendments to supervisory benchmarking and resolution reporting, expected to apply from September and December 2022 respectively. The package also includes technical revisions relating to reporting on minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities (MREL) and funding plans.
