EFRAG’s ESRS Knowledge Hub wins UN recognition
EFRAG has received the ISAR Honours 2026 International Award for its European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) Knowledge Hub. The award was presented in Geneva at the 43rd session of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accounting and Reporting (ISAR) of UN Trade and Development.
The Knowledge Hub is EFRAG’s interactive platform bringing together the ESRS and the Voluntary Standard, implementation guidance, educational resources and digital tools. It follows a 2025 ISAR Honours award for EFRAG’s Voluntary SME Sustainability Reporting Standard (VSME) initiative.
Knowledge management is an underrated part of good reporting. Standards applied consistently produce disclosures that can be tagged consistently and compared with confidence, and one authoritative place to look things up helps on both counts. A big congratulations to the EFRAG team, including Richard Bössen, who is responsible for EFRAG’s digital ESRS taxonomy work and chairs our own XBRL Standards Board.
