FactSet Expands content collection with acquisition of idaciti, Inc.
FactSet, a global financial digital platform and enterprise solutions provider, has announced its acquisition of idaciti, Inc., a leader in data structuring and collection technology. The transaction was completed on 11 July 2023.
This strategic move is part of FactSet’s ongoing investment program to digitally transform its content collection infrastructure and enhance the granularity of its data, particularly in Deep Sector and sustainability.
By leveraging idaciti’s expertise in taxonomy-first data structuring and machine learning-assisted technology, FactSet aims to deliver more comprehensive, standardised data at an exceptional level of granularity, quality and speed. The acquisition aligns with FactSet’s commitment to providing the financial community with data-driven insights.
Congratulations to the idaciti team, including co-founders Emily Huang and Dr Christine Tan, long standing leaders within the structured data community, who have achieved an enormous amount independently.
