IASB Releases Proposed Taxonomy Update
As the IASB issues amendments, it also releases updates to the current IFRS Taxonomy for entities wishing to report electronically using the latest Standards. These taxonomy updates may also contain technical updates, new common practice elements or general taxonomy improvements. The IASB has just released Update 2 to the 2015 IFRS Taxonomy with proposed additions for entities engaged in Information Technology, Media, Chemicals and Utilities. XBRL files, versioning reports, element definitions and other supporting materials may be found here. You are encouraged to review these documents and submit comment to the IASB by 30 October 2015.
