EBA issues revised list of ITS validation rules
The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published its regular updated list of validation rules included in its Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on supervisory reporting, highlighting those that have been deactivated either for incorrectness or for triggering IT problems. These complex rules are used by report issuers to check data quality, and are revised on an ongoing basis as issues emerge. The EBA notes that data submitted in accordance with the ITS should not be formally validated against the set of now-deactivated rules.
