EBA publishes revised validation rules

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published a revised list of validation rules for its reporting standards, highlighting those which have been deactivated for incorrectness or for triggering IT problems.

The EBA’s extensive validation rules are continually reviewed and revised. They can be used by reporting entities to automatically check XBRL reports for data quality problems prior to filing, increasing the accuracy of reporting.
