ESAs seek feedback on oversight activities for DORA implementation

Posted on April 27, 2024 by Editor

The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) continues to be an area of focus for both EU regulated firms and their service providers.

A new joint consultation regulatory technical standard (RTS) from the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs) sets out a range of proposals for the manner in which “critical ICT third-party service providers” or (CTPPs) will be subject to regulatory examinations. The RTS specifies team designations, tasks, and working arrangements  for this new form of regulation.

Stakeholders are encouraged to provide feedback on the draft RTS by 18 May, 2024.

DORA and its related RTS are slated to become effective from 17 January, 2025.
