Australia sets go-live dates for APRA Connect
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has confirmed that its new data collection system, APRA Connect, will launch in September 2021. {Ed — 19 years and 10 months since the previous system was launched, in case anyone was wondering.}
The APRA Connect test environment will be available from 17 June for users to familiarise themselves with the system and carry out trial submissions of data, and the production environment will go live ‘for real’ on 13 September. The first data to be received via the system will be Superannuation Data Transformation collections, due in September, and Private Health Insurance Reform, due in October.
