EBA releases phase 2 of its 3.1 reporting framework

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has issued phase 2 of its 3.1 reporting framework, providing standard specifications to support implementation, following phase 1 in May. In particular, it covers new reporting requirements relating to amendments to the supervisory benchmarking and resolution planning frameworks. The technical package includes the revised validation rules, Data Point Model (DPM) and XBRL taxonomies for version 3.1. The DPM Query Tool has also been updated to reflect the current release. The new framework is expected to take effect from September.
