EBA releases v3.1 of its reporting framework, with taxonomy updates

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published phase 1 of the new version 3.1 of its reporting framework, which is expected to apply from September 2021. It reflects new reporting requirements for investment firms, as well as changes to resolution planning reporting and supervisory benchmarking. The technical package now available supports the implementation of the reporting framework by providing standard specifications; it includes the validation rules, Data Point Model and XBRL taxonomies for v3.1. The DPM Query Tool has also been updated to reflect the current release.
