Europe Needs a Way to Discover Corporate Reports

Posted on December 13, 2019 by Editor

This week we are pleased to feature a guest post from Mohini Singh, Director, Financial Reporting Policy at CFA Institute. In her post she highlights the “missing piece” in the digitisation of reporting in the EU: the need for a single way to discover reports.

For capital allocation to work effectively and fairly, all investors, in all markets, need access to corporate disclosures of all kinds.

At XBRL International we are reassured by the efforts of key officials on this subject, but share the concern that CFA Institute outlines in Mohini’s post. In truth, this issue of discoverability, trust, and accessibility impact reporting the world over. Read more here.
