At the XBRL Asia Round Table (XART) meeting in Kumamoto in Japan this week, attendees heard from multiple projects across the region that are focussed on XBRL-enabled analytics for compliance monitoring and broad dissemination of performance reports.
The 13th XBRL Asia Round Table will be in the week commencing 8 July this year. As in previous years, this will be a joint event with the ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum (ABMF) hosted by the Asian Development Bank. This year the meeting will be held in Kumamoto.
The 12th XBRL Asia Round Table (XART) was held in Tokyo this week in conjunction with the ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum, Asia-Pacific Financial Forum (APFF) and Asia Business Law Institute (ABLI) events.
XBRL Asia Round Table is a digital reporting event for regulators and relevant professionals across Asia. The event, held in Tokyo, will help improve business reporting strategy and familiarise attendees with international best practices. Participants can engage with regulators implementing XBRL for their reporting processes and consult subject matter experts on various relevant issues.
The 10th XBRL Asia Round Table meeting will be held on 26-27 June 2019 in Tokyo, Japan, in conjunction with the 31st ASEAN+3 Bond Market Forum (ABMF) meeting that is being held 24-25 June. The XART meeting heard from both the Taiwan Stock Exchange and the Malaysian Securities Commission yesterday about efforts to start to upgrade their reporting arrangements from “template” based XBRL to Inline XBRL for corporate reporting.
